‘Certain Stitch’ hand sewing needles have been developed to create evenly spaced, consistent stitches by using the coloured band on the shaft of the needle as a guide. Betweens Needles

Also known as quilting needles, they are shorter than sharps so you can be more precise with your stitching. They have a small rounded eye and are used for making fine stitches on heavy fabrics such as in tailoring, quilt making and other detailed handwork.

Sharps Needles

Sharps are a general-purpose sewing needle. The most common needle used by dressmakers around the world. They have short round eyes and have added strength during sewing.

Short Darners

Sometimes referred to as cotton darners, they are strong hand sewing needles with sharp points and long eyes. Commonly used for mending and darning using cotton and yarn.

Crewel Needles

Used for surface embroidery with embellishments. The sharp tip makes it easy to pierce through tightly woven fabric and the medium-long eye makes it easy to use decorative threads.
